There are a lot of dog houses on the market today.  At Doghouses R Us, we want to help you find the right house for your dog. 

When choosing a dog house, it is important to consider your climate and your dogs size.  Some houses are insulated and others aren't.  Some materials, such as cedar, cost more initially but will stand up to time. Also pine is easy to paint and maintain and cost less than cedar and with proper maintnence will last many years. You also want to consider the chemicals in the finished product as they can affect your dogs sence of smell ( this is important for hunting dogs). And if your dog(s) chew, what will they ingest? Wood, Plastic, styrafoam or something else

Wood dog houses come as kits with several panels that assemble easily.  Plastic houses also require assembly, but not as much as wooden models.
